Interleukin Receptor Common gamma Subunit
Receptorer, granulocyt-makrofagkolonistimulerande faktor
Granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF) receptor is a cell surface receptor that plays a crucial role in the proliferation, differentiation, and activation of granulocytes and macrophages, which are important types of white blood cells involved in the immune response. The GM-CSF receptor is composed of two subunits: the alpha (GM-CSF Rα) and the beta (GM-CSF Rβ or CD131) chains. When GM-CSF binds to the alpha chain, it induces a conformational change that allows the beta chain to form a dimer with the alpha chain, leading to the activation of downstream signaling pathways, including JAK/STAT and MAPK pathways. This results in the proliferation and differentiation of hematopoietic stem cells into granulocytes and macrophages, as well as their activation and survival. Dysregulation of GM-CSF receptor signaling has been implicated in various diseases, such as autoimmune disorders and cancer.

CSF2RB-receptor

Receptors, Interleukin-4, Type I
Interleukin-4 (IL-4) Type I receptor, also known as IL-4Rα, is a type of cell surface receptor that binds to the cytokine Interleukin-4. It is a heterodimeric receptor composed of two subunits, the IL-4Rα and the common gamma chain (γc). The binding of IL-4 to this receptor complex leads to the activation of several signaling pathways, including the JAK-STAT pathway, which ultimately results in the regulation of immune responses, such as the differentiation of naive CD4+ T cells into Th2 cells and the inhibition of pro-inflammatory cytokine production. Dysregulation of this receptor has been implicated in various diseases, including allergic disorders and certain types of cancer.
