Objetivos: Establecer la capacidad diagnóstica de la práctica simultánea de RM de alto campo (3T) y PET con metionina y FDG en el manejo de la recidiva de la enfermedad de Cushing.. Métodos: Se efectúan 23 estudios de RM y PET con metionina y FDG en un total de 18 pacientes con recidiva de enfermedad de Cushing confirmada. La serie incluye cuatro hombres y 19 mujeres (edades entre 19 y 66 años; media de 36,7). Se efectuó la medición de PET mediante el análisis SUVmax e índice SUVmax/SUVclgm, considerándose patológica la captación por encima de 1,5. También se determinó la localización y lateralización de la captación. Los estudios de imagen se efectuaron en RM de 3T (Phillips Giroscan Intera 3-T) con secuencias 3D T1 e imágenes spin echo-T1 sin/con gadolinio, así como secuencias turbo spin echo-T2..
