Doctors in Kenya have accused UNICEF, the World Health Organization and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation of secretly trying to sterilise millions of women in Africa via a tetanus vaccine program. According to LifeSiteNews, the Kenya Catholic Doctors Association say that doctors have uncovered evidence of a mass sterilisation program sponsored by the Kenyan government and funded by Bill Gates.. Healthimpactnews.com reports:. The Kenyan government denies there is anything wrong with the vaccine, and says it is perfectly safe.. The Kenya Catholic Doctors Association, however, saw evidence to the contrary, and had six different samples of the tetanus vaccine from various locations around Kenya sent to an independent laboratory in South Africa for testing.. The results confirmed their worst fears: all six samples tested positive for the HCG antigen. The HCG antigen is used in anti-fertility vaccines, but was found present in tetanus vaccines targeted to young girls and women of childbearing age. ...

The tetanus vaccine causes a new disease known both as Hughes syndrome and antiphospholipid syndrome (APS). Its an autoimmune condition that can attack any part of the body, though is best noted for heart attacks and killing fetuses. Its likely that APS will become more common with the new generation of vaccine adjuvants now being produced.. The sufferers of (APS) are mostly women, and its diagnosis is often made as a result of multiple pregnancy losses. As is typical of new diseases, research is focused on finding a genetic cause, in spite of the fact that the connection with vaccines is well known and documented.. As the name implies, APS is a condition in which phospholipids, natural and necessary substances required by every part of the body, is seen as an infectious agent by the immune system. So, this substance that exists in every cell becomes subject to attack. Symptoms include:. ...

Despite widespread uses of tetanus toxoid (TT) as a vaccine, model antigen and protein carrier, TT epitopes have been poorly characterized. Herein we defined the human CD4+ T cell epitope repertoire by reevaluation of previously described epitopes and evaluation of those derived from prediction of HLA Class II binding. Forty-seven epitopes were identified following in vitro TT stimulation, with 28 epitopes accounting for 90% of the total response. Despite this diverse range of epitopes, individual responses were associated with only a few immunodominant epitopes, with each donor responding on average to 3 epitopes. For the top 14 epitopes, HLA restriction could be inferred based on HLA typing of the responding donors. HLA binding predictions re-identified the vast majority of known epitopes, and identified 24 additional novel epitopes. With these epitopes, we created a TT epitope pool, which allowed us to characterize TT responses directly ex vivo using a cytokine-independent Activation Induced ...

3. Neurological Reactions. Neurological reactions were observed in 1.4/million vaccinations (10 p. 161). The peripheral nervous system is affected more often than the central nervous system. The rate of side effects is clearly lower than with the DPT vaccination, but similar to the DT vaccination, with the important remark that with the latter the central nervous system is affected more often. The time span between vaccination and complication differs from barely a few minutes for acute allergic reactions, to 12 to 48 hours for delayed allergic reactions, to 4 to 10 days for the onset of neuritis (49). 43% of cases show their first symptoms within 72 hours.. Peripheral neuropathy occurs in 1.4/million vaccinations (10 p161). The first symptoms can be observed within 10-14 days. It can be provoked by different mechanisms. In one case, a clear cut causal relationship was established with hypersensitivity to the tetanus toxoid.. Affected parts are the arm muscles (plexus brachialis, N. medianus) ...

To bring women to the maternal waiting area, we list pregnant mothers who had started antenatal care in the facilities or who were identified through volunteers in the Women Development Army, a community health entity established by the Ethiopian government. The HEWs then advise women whose gestational age is more than 38 weeks to come for antenatal care and counsel them to come to stay in the maternal waiting rooms.. Maternity waiting rooms include a daily monitoring routine and provide interventions like iron folate, mebendazole (to treat worm infections), and tetanus toxoid immunization as appropriate. We aim to create a home-like environment and empower mothers with birth preparedness, identification of maternal and neonatal danger signs, neonatal care, breastfeeding, family planning, and other individualized care.. By applying QI approaches, our facility brought about what was previously considered unimaginable change. Maternal deaths went from 10 deaths in 2018 to only 1 death in 2019. The ...
Autoantigen-specific proinflammatory T-helper cells are assumed to play an important role in the pathogenesis of Multiple Sclerosis (MS). The most extensively studied autoantigen is Myelin Basic Protein (MBP). To detect autoantigen-specific T-cells, so far these had to be cultured for several days or months. In this work methods for the direct ex vivo detection of autoreactive T-helper cells have been established by detecting the reactive secretion of the proinflammatory cytokines Interferon gamma and Tumor Necrosis Factor alpha after six hour stimulation. The flow cytometric analysis of antigen-reactive cytokine expression in fixed cells showed a sensitivity of 1/10.000 in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC). With this method there could not be detected any MBP-reactive T-helper cells in 34 MS-patients and 25 healthy controls, whereas the reaction after stimulation with the two control antigens Tetanus Toxoid and Cytomegalovirus antigen did not differ relevantly between the two groups. ...

Now, Pfizer wants to vaccinate every young American female who is about to enter or just entered their child-bearing years, with a vaccine thats already killed over 1750 Americans, and has no proof whatsoever of safety or efficacy.. Could mRNA be a secret anti-fertility biological weapon that causes miscarriages, spontaneous abortions, and infertility? It wouldnt be the first time Bill Gates pushed for vaccinations that contain sterility chemicals.. Remember the spiked tetanus vaccines given to millions of young women in Kenya? Yes, independent laboratories confirmed that the tetanus vaccines contained a sterilization chemical that causes miscarriages. That was heavily promoted by Bill Gates, UNICEF and the WHO, so that upwards of 3 million young girls would be violated by chemical violence via dirty vaccines. The vaccine literally caused the womens body to destroy the fetus.. Now, Pfizer suddenly claims they have a Covid-19 vaccine with 100 percent efficacy that would be perfect for shooting ...
Tetanus, commonly known as lockjaw, is a serious, sometimes fatal disease of the nervous system. Those who survive often have long term problems with speech, memory, and mental function. When the bacteria enter the body, a toxin (poison) is made that affects the nerves that control muscle activity.. During the 1920s and 1930s, 26 to 55 deaths from tetanus were reported each year. Due to immunization with tetanus toxoid vaccine there have been 0-5 cases per year in Ontario (2005-2014). The disease is more common in farming regions and in areas where contact with animal feces is more likely and in areas where immunization rates are lower.. ...
Background: Knowledge, attitude and practices about immunization among mothers of children aged 1-2 years was assessed. Method: 300 mothers were administered a semi-structured questionnaire at PHC Hajan from 1st march to 1st may 2011 to elicit the information about the knowledge, attitude and practices of the mothers regarding immunization. Results: 100% of mothers knew that vaccination is beneficial and protects their children from diseases. 39% knew OPV protects from polio while only 1% were aware of protective role of BCG. All mothers knew about immunization in pregnancy but 86% were unaware about its preventive role. 26% mothers believed that 3 doses of T.T (tetanus toxoid) are to be given during pregnancy. Whereas 98% of children were completely immunized, 93% completed on schedule. Eighty percent of mothers reported of fever following DPT. All mothers had received tetanus toxoid during pregnancy. Conclusion: Considering mothers poor knowledge and good attitude, health education on ...

It depends on the type of vaccination. Some vaccines, such as the seasonal flu vaccine and the whooping cough vaccine, are recommended during pregnancy. Some - such as the tetanus vaccine - are perfectly safe to have during pregnancy if necessary.. If the vaccine involves the use of a live version of the virus, such as the MMR vaccine, it will normally be given after your baby is born because these vaccines could cause your unborn baby to become infected, although there is no evidence that any live vaccine causes birth defects.. In some cases, a live vaccine may be used during pregnancy if the risk of infection outweighs the risk of the vaccination.. Your GP or midwife can give you more advice about vaccinations during pregnancy.. ...
Phospholipids are a primary part of your body, forming part of the membrane of every cell, among other functions. Theyre under attack in APS. As can be seen with regard to tetanus vaccine, APS can be induced by the antigen when the epitope-the part of the antigen forming the pattern that autobodies are designed to attack-is similar to a particular part of the body.. Whats frightening is that phospholipids are becoming a primary ingredient of vaccines in the form of a new generation of adjuvants made via recombinant DNA by diddling with a part of pathogenic bacteria called outer membrane vesicles (OMVs).. OMVs allow for designer vaccine antigens and adjuvants. OMV adjuvants are, of course, being promoted as the safest ever developed. That safety claim is based on the fact that theyre so much like the body already. This is the same claim thats been used to promote squalene, which, as weve recently seen with the tragic cases of narcolepsy in children after the squalene-laced flu vaccine, ...

Interleukin (IL)-21 is crucial for the regulation of lymphocytes and is implicated in autoimmune and other diseases. The relevance of being able to measure human IL-21 prompted us to develop ELISA and ELISpot assays for analysis of IL-21 levels and IL-21-producing cells, respectively. Monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) to IL-21 were made and ELISA and ELISpot assays were developed. The selected detection mAb also neutralized IL-21-mediated activation of human cells. Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) from healthy donors (n = 24) were stimulated polyclonally (phytohemagglutinin; PHA) or with antigen (Candida albicans extract and tetanus toxoid). Using ELISpot, high numbers of IL-21-producing cells were detected after PHA activation; lower but positive responses to antigen were seen in approximately 50% of the donors. In contrast, the ELISA detected IL-21 in supernatants from PHA-activated cells but not from antigen-stimulated cells. When analyzing IL-17A in parallel, PHA and antigens induced ...

The purpose of this study is to test the safety and favorable immune response to an anti-streptococcal vaccine (a vaccine that treats a common bacterial infection) in healthy non-pregnant women.. Group B Streptococcus (GBS) continues to be the single most frequent cause of life-threatening bacterial infection during the first 2 months of life. Further, GBS pregnancy-related morbidity afflicts more than 50,000 women annually in the US. Therefore, active immunization of women is an appealing strategy for the prevention of GBS disease in pregnant women and their infants during the first 3 months of infant life. ...

All along the flooded Mississippi River yesterday, tetanus vaccines were becoming worth their minimal weight in gold as swamped treatment plants poured millions of gallons of raw sewage into the river while thousands of volunteers sloshed around in the unhealthful waters. A national shortage of the vaccine had Red Cross officials in Rock Island telling sandbaggers, firefighters and others likely to get wet to check with their family doctors and see if they had a few vials hidden away. During past floods, health officials had set up vaccination stations right where levee-builders were toiling in the brackish waters. Fine was a relative term yesterday, as the citys main thoroughfare was almost completely submerged, the Rhythm City Casino was closed and 14 pumps were going full-speed in an effort to keep the John ODonnell baseball stadium from going under. A night game at the stadium, home to the Quad City River Bandits, typically offers one of the best views of the river for miles -- with the

The primary and secondary antibody responses to tetanus toxoid were measured in 18 patients with primary biliary cirrhosis and compared with those in age and sex matched controls. Although the primary antibody response in the two groups was similar, the secondary IgM antibody response in primary biliary cirrhosis was significantly higher than that in control subjects. There seems to be a correlation between secondary IgM antibody titre and total serum IgM concentration, although this fails to reach significance (p = 0.069). These results show that in primary biliary cirrhosis there is a failure to switch from IgM to IgG antibody synthesis in response to foreign antigens, and this may account for the increased serum IgM concentrations that are usually found in this disease.. ...
1. Scientific evidence shows that too-frequent tetanus boosters actually may interfere with the immune reaction. 2. There has been a gradual retreat of even the most conservative authorities from giving tetanus boosters every one year to every two years to every five years to every 10 years (as now recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics), and according to some, every 20 years. All these numbers are based on guesses rather than on hard scientific evidence.. 3. There has been a growing recognition that no controlled scientific study (in which half the patients were given the vaccine and the other half were given injections of sterile water) has ever been carried out to prove the safety and effectiveness of the tetanus vaccine. Evidence for the vaccine comes from epidemiologic studies which are by nature controversial and which do not satisfy the criteria for scientific proof.. 4. The tetanus vaccine over the decades has been progressively weakened in order to reduce the considerable ...
Tetanus vaccination is part of the Norwegian childhood vaccination program. An elderly woman injured her arm and leg after a minor fall on her outdoor stairs. Two weeks later she presented with trismus. This developed into tetanic spasms, obstructed airways and the need for a tracheostomy. She died 14 days later due to pneumonia and multi-organ failure. ELISA for tetanus toxoid IgG was negative, probably because the patient was born before the introduction of tetanus vaccination in the Norwegian childhood vaccination program. Lack of adherence to the vaccination programs should be considered in patients presenting with symptoms resembling diseases they normally would be protected from. Although the patient presented with typical symptoms the diagnosis was not suspected initially, probably due to the rareness of this disease in Norway.

Dendritic cells (DCs) are potent antigen-presenting cells that initiate protective T-cell immunity in mice. To study the immunogenicity of DCs in humans, we injected 9 healthy subjects subcutaneously with a control injection of autologous monocyte-derived, mature DCs, followed 4-6 weeks later by DCs pulsed with keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH), HLA-A*0201-positive restricted influenza matrix peptide (MP), and tetanus toxoid (TT). Four more subjects received these antigens without DCs. Injection of unpulsed DCs, or antigens alone, failed to immunize. Priming of CD4(+) T cells to KLH was observed in all 9 subjects injected with KLH-pulsed DCs, and boosting of TT-specific T-cell immunity was seen in 5 of 6 subjects injected with TT-pulsed DCs. Injection of antigen-pulsed DCs led to a severalfold increase in freshly isolated MP-specific, IFN-gamma-secreting CD8(+) T cells in all 6 HLA-A*0201-positive subjects, as early as 7 days after injection. When T cells were boosted in culture, there was an increase in
The effects of a chimeric monoclonal antibody (chA6 mAb) that recognizes both the RO and RB isoforms of the transmembrane protein tyrosine phosphatase CD45 on human T cells were investigated. Chimeric A6 (chA6) mAb potently inhibited antigen-specific and polyclonal T cell responses. ChA6 mAb induced activation-independent apoptosis in CD4 + CD45RO/RB high T cells but not in CD8 + T cells. In addition, CD4 + T cell lines specific for tetanus toxoid (TT) generated in the presence of chA6 mAb were anergic and suppressed the proliferation and interferon (IFN)-γ production by TT-specific effector T cells by an interleukin-10-dependent mechanism, indicating that these cells were equivalent to type 1 regulatory T cells. Similarly, CD8 + T cell lines specific for the influenza A matrix protein-derived peptide (MP.58-66) generated in the presence of chA6 mAb were anergic and suppressed IFN-γ production by MP.58-66-specific effector CD8 + T cells. Furthermore, chA6 mAb significantly prolonged human ...

The question of whether to have ongoing booster vaccines is more complicated than looking at frequency of a disease. The conclusions of this study focus on the lack of change in tetanus or diphtheria incidence rates among countries that routinely vaccinate children. However, other factors influence the number of cases, such as the overall amount of the bacteria in the environment, or wound management and hygiene measures.. Immunity from antibodies to tetanus and diphtheria may persist for many years. Over time, though, antibody levels decrease. We know that even if antibodies are present, low levels may not always be protective. Even though this study was well executed and raises some important questions, further studies are needed to examine whether a childhood vaccination series offers lifelong protection without repeated adult boosters.. Even though it happens rarely, people can still get tetanus and experience serious or deadly effects. There is no cure for tetanus, and no definitive proof ...

The School of Nursing requires students to provide evidence of continued health status compliance. These requirements must be fulfilled in order for students to progress/remain in the program. Health status requirements are due on the first day of each term.. All students must submit the results of a current TB skin test each year. Students must provide evidence of current immunizations. This includes: (a) two varicella vaccines or a positive varicella titer, (b) two measles, mumps and rubella vaccines after 12 months of age or a positive titer, (c) Diphtheria-Tetanus and Pertussis (If the tetanus vaccine was given more than two years ago the student must receive a tetanus booster with the pertussis portion of the vaccine due to a resurgence of pertussis. If the student has had a previous reaction to the pertussis vaccine, medical documentation must be provided.), (d) The hepatitis B series must either be in progress or completed according to the CDC guidelines or a declination form must be ...
The Eliminate Project, kiwanis global campaign for children, uniting with UNICEF to eliminate maternal/ neonatal tetanus (MNT) from the earth.

A clean object does not have dirt, soil, spit, or feces on it. You will need a tetanus shot if: Your wound was caused by something that was clean and your last tetanus shot was longer than 10 years ago. Your wound was caused by something that was dirty and your last tetanus shot was longer than 5 years ago ...
May I impose on your knowledge and experience to ask another question? It isnt unusual for my husband to get banged up at work, and therefore require a tetanus shot every few years (I dont remember the time period... 7 years? 10 years?). This last time, a few weeks ago, they said the tetanus vaccine is no longer produced alone so he had to get the DPPT. Im not sure if this should concern me going forward or not. I know the tetanus wears off, but what about the others? Would repeated vaccinations for the diptheria and pertussis cause any problems we should watch for ...

After researching the differences in availability for Tetanus vaccinations in both countries I found that differences in access to these services and vaccinations was a major factor in predicting incidence of death. In a report given by UNICEF, they attributed the higher death rates in places in South Asia because of inadequate immunization services and limited or absent medical services. Furthermore they stated that in areas of severe poverty people have very little access to health care and lack access to information on general health. This was further supported in a review paper done by Peter Rhee, who stated that the main reason tetanus remains a major problem in areas of increased poverty like Southern Asia is the lack of primary immunization programs. Hopefully in the future we can rid our world of this terrible disease through better access to immunizations and health care worldwide ...
This paper provides a theoretical and empirical investigation of the positive complementarities between disease-specific policies introduced by competing risks of mortality. The incentive to invest in prevention against one cause of death depends positively on the level of survival from other causes. This means that a specific public health intervention has benefits other than the direct medical reduction in mortality: it affects the incentives to fight other diseases so the overall reduction in mortality will, in general, be larger than that predicted by the direct medical effects. We discuss evidence of these cross-disease effects by using data on neo-natal tetanus vaccination through the Expanded Programme on Immunization of the World Health Organization. ...
Your GP or midwife can give you more advice about vaccinations during pregnancy.. ...
An option in vaccine choices that parents have always had for their children is no longer available. Some wished to cautiously pick and choose the ingredient combinations injected into their babies and toddlers - on a vaccine-by-vaccine basis. Many opted to spread out injections in an effort to limit the amount of toxins and foreign substances their infants developing immune system had to handle at any one time. Parents could select one monovalent (a single vaccine that only correlates with one disease) at a time. For example, the measles vaccine could be chosen solo (without the mumps and rubella). Similarly, the tetanus vaccine could be administered without the diptheria and pertussis ...
Infections with polysaccharide (PS)-encapsulated extracellular bacteria are a major source of global morbidity and mortality among infants, as well as the elderly and immunosuppressed individuals. An understanding of the immunological basis of glycoconjugate interactions is still emerging but is already helping shape strategies to improve conjugate responses. Genetic factors in humans that are known to influence susceptibility to infection with the pneumococcus may also provide a clue to the key factors associated with the immune response to PS antigens. The covalent linkage of PS antigens to immunogenic proteins capable of recruiting CD4+ T-cell help to produce conjugate vaccine, first described in the 1930s, results in the elicitation of protective, high-titer-IgG anti-PS responses and the generation of immunologic memory, as well as immunogenicity in the infant host. Conjugate vaccines used clinically are produced by employing a limited number of carrier proteins (e.g., tetanus toxoid (TT),

Typhoid or Hepatitis A vaccination is advisable when traveling to Morocco, however Morocco is one of the few countries where vaccinations are required but when traveling to any foreign country it is advisable to make sure you are up to date with your polio and tetanus vaccines. Please discuss with your Doctor before you travel to ensure that you are healthy and up-to-date with any immunisations.
