Hidrocystoma, or sudoriferous cyst, is an eyelid tumor originating from apocrine or eccrine sweat glands. Its presence in the orbit is relatively rare. A full-term female child with severe right eye extrusion was referred to our department two hours after birth. We performed cyst aspiration under ultrasonic guidance; 15 cc straw-colored fluid was obtained and proptosis resolved significantly. Orbital magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) showed a large unilocular retrobulbar mass with hypo-intensity in T1 and hyper-intensity in T2. The case underwent further daily ocular assessment until day 5; when proptosis began to worsen again. On day 6, under general anesthesia, we performed aspiration and then the cyst was completely removed with an intact wall through a trans-conjunctival incision. The diameter of the aspirated cyst was about 4 cm. Papillary eccrine adenoma (PEA) is an uncommon sweat gland neoplasm that occurs more frequently on the distal extremities of Black women. Clinically, it appears as a small, isolated, firm, dome-shaped cutaneous nodule. We report two unusual cases of PEA that presented clinically as cutaneous horn. Histologically, both cases showed the typical dermal morphology of PEA with overlying epidermal changes suggestive of human papillomavirus (HPV). However, HPV immunoperoxidase staining and polymerase chain reaction for HPV were negative in both cases. Eccrine porocarcinoma was first described by Pinkus and Mehregan in 1963.1 It is a rare, malignant neoplasm that originates in the eccrine sweat glands acrosyringium, representing between 0.005 and 0.01% of skin tumors.2 It usually occurs in elderly people and women, with predominance of lower limb lesions, followed by trunk and head.3 It is clinically presented in varied forms and metastases may occur in 20% of cases for regional lymph nodes and in 10% of cases for internal organs.4 A normal computerized tomography indicates a better prognosis.5 Many therapeutic possibilities have been reported, with variable results; it is more common to propose conventional surgical removal or Mohs micrographic surgery.
