1 Money and international commodity circulation.. The theory of international trade and world value contributes some additional features also to the problem of money. To the degree that a product is turned into a commodity, accidental equivalents are turned into an universal equivalent, and the latter into money. And since a product gets full development into the commodity form on the world market, where value gets its finished expression in world value, so also developed monetary exchange finds its natural scope there where money is turned into world money, dropping its national uniform. In domestic trade precious metals, having passed a number of stages of development, function in a determined purely-local form, in the quality of standard of price, coin and currency, as token of value by fulfilling the function of means of circulation. Crossing the domestic sphere of trade, taking on itself the role of world money, gold (and silver) returns to the starting point of its development, coming ...

Going by the speed with which compliances are smoothened out, one would imagine growth to be straight-forward. But it isnt. Currency product is the life blood of any international exchange, but back home, rupee-dollar trading is strictly a no-go zone. Reason: RBI, is apprehensive that India isnt ready for full capital account convertibility.. "But if I (India Inx) have to compete with Dubai or Singapore, I have to have the same rules." He has a point. There are six international exchanges trading in rupee-dollar, Dubai being the largest. On Brexit day alone, trading volume in Dubai for rupee-dollar was 6-7 times more than what Indian markets witnessed. This was partly because Indian exchanges were closed when others were open. Plugging this, India Inx, operates 22 hours from 4.30 am to 2.30 am.. From a venture perspective, it has a world-class trading system, and is now the fastest exchange with a response time of 4 micro seconds. "One second has 1 million micro seconds. One second has 1,000 ...

International genetic evaluation of dairy cattle can provide valuable selection tools to dairy producers around the world. The demand for such development has grown as international exchange of genetic material has been rapidly increasing. Several factors affecting the success of a global evaluation system are discussed in this article. Alternative methods are described and assessed. Their relative merits depend on two inversely proportional components: simplicity of implementation and accuracy of results. The method that currently combines best these two attributes is computation of a single international proof following linear model analysis of national evaluations of bulls across country. Extensive research experience regarding this method has been gained, showing its feasibility for large scale applications. Further research is planned to determine the complete global evaluation system of the future which should effectively cover the maximum number of populations, environments, and breeding ...

The development of science at the level of research must be conceived at the level of the planet. The internationalization of higher education is an established fact, and it is important for any university to show a clear strategy for international exchanges and collaborations. It is very important for us to continue and expand these activities" ...

This paper discusses developments in the international exchange rate and restrictive systems. Global output and trade recovered strongly in 1984, as inflation in the industrial countries remained relatively subdued and further progress in developing countries was made in tackling the problem of overindebtedness. Restrictive exchange practices in the form of multiple exchange rates have been substantially reduced in 1984. Multilateral restructurings of obligations have been large in 1983, amounting to some SDR 60 billion, as compared with SDR 6 billion in 1982.

Originally propounded by the sixteenth-century scholars of the University of Salamanca, the concept of purchasing power parity (PPP) was revived in the interwar period in the context of the debate concerning the appropriate level at which to re-establish international exchange rate parities. Broadly accepted as a long-run equilibrium condition in the post-war period, it was first advocated as a short-run equilibrium by many international economists in the first few years following the breakdown of the Bretton Woods system in the early 1970s and then increasingly came under attack on both theoretical and empirical grounds from the late 1970s to the mid 1990s. Accordingly, over the last three decades, a large literature has built up that examines how much the data deviated from theory, and the fruits of this research have provided a deeper understanding of how well PPP applies in both the short run and the long run. Since the mid 1990s, larger datasets and nonlinear econometric methods, in ...

The mere mention of production reminds us that the assorted Austrian, Chicago, and social credit schools are predominantly or exclusively concerned with money and banking, and pay little or no attention to industrial, agricultural, and infrastructural production, meaning of course that they neglect the creation of those tangible physical use values, capital goods, and related forms of real wealth upon which human existence depends. With bailouts increasing and all forms of commodity production declining, we have the classic situation of far too much money chasing too few goods. Internal pressure towards hyperinflation comes from the fact that the bailout and public debt lending, on top of the bloated, fictitious, and exponentially growing mass of kited derivatives, are all charges which must be added to the prices of commodity production. Add this to the more important factor of looming dollar panic in the international exchanges, and the preponderance of the evidence points towards ...
