In September 2013 we hosted a conference called Geriatrics for Juniors (G4J) - a series of lectures and interactive presentations covering the main subspecialty areas of Geriatric Medicine, providing practical and useful clinical updates to FY and CMT doctors, and showing them what a career as a Geriatrician has to offer.. Held at Centre for Life in Newcastle Upon Tyne, and supported by Health Education North East, the British Geriatrics Society, and the Royal College of Physicians (London) we welcomed over 100 delegates from throughout the UK..
