This study of twenty-two prostate patient cohort treated with SIB IMRT showed differences between the SC and MC predicted doses. Film dosimetry results confirmed that the MC algorithm predicted flat-phantom measurements better than the SC algorithm (Figure 1). Improved MC calculated dose agreement was due to the superior fluence prediction by the MC algorithm. For each patient plan, the deviations of the phantom and patient data sets for each case were found to be on the same side of the mean, demonstrating that the deviations observed in flat-phantom are representative of the deviations in the patients.. For individual patient plans, our results showed that the MC-predicted doses for PTVprostate and PTVnodes were up to 3.8% and 4.7% respectively lower than the ones predicted by the SC algorithm. Purpose: A recently installed MR-linac couples real-time, non-ionizing tumor tracking with double stacked, double-focused MLCs, making it a perfect candidate for high precision radiation therapy. Number tree is bleached for 30 seconds, and the last one for 60 seconds. After the bleach bath I rinse the print in water for at least one minute. If you bleach on eye measure, start rinsing in water a little before you think it is bleached enough. Remember the print will continue bleach for a while after you have removed it from the bleach bath. Photo of the bleached prints were taken when still wet. Sorry about the glare.. Bleaching and toning cyanotype prints is a bit tricky. There are many variables; paper quality, under/over exposed image, bleaching time and toning time. Measurements in Tough water phantom with air gaps were used to verify the calculated dose. The plane-parallel ionization chamber was moved from 2 mm to 20 mm behind air gap. Calculations were performed for various air gaps (1.0, 2.0, 3.0 and 4.0 cm) and field sizes (4.2 × 4.2, 6.0 × 6.0 and 9.8 × 9.8 cm2). The lateral missing tissue measurement was performed using the radiochromic RT-QA film. Dose difference between PB and chamber measurement near an air gap was greater for smaller field size, larger air gap thickness, and shallower depth behind air gap.
