Specifically, the study aimed at evaluating the current key stakeholders conceptualisation and recognition of Social Entrepreneurship concept and whether in Tanzania there is a supportive environment for Social Entrepreneurship. To improve the quality of entrepreneurship education, this study explored factors linked to teachers competencies in entrepreneurship education in China. A regression analysis based on 12,596 teachers questionnaires showed that the competencies of teachers in entrepreneurship education had three dimensions. The factors linked to teachers competencies were professional training, new modes of teaching, entrepreneurial practice, entrepreneurial culture, and policy guarantee. At the same time, the influence mechanism between teachers overall competency and factors is explored. Digital entrepreneurship-the intersection of digital technologies and entrepreneurship- is gaining increasing importance in the global economy and scholarly community. This PDW set out to establish a community platform for and shared understanding amongst information systems researchers who are interested in shaping the future of digital entrepreneurship research within and beyond the disciplines boundaries. The simple framework presented in this short paper represents the first step of this endeavor and served as the foundation to structure thinking and discussions at the PDW. The framework identifies three fundamental dimensions of the digital entrepreneurship phenomenon-digital technologies as enablers, outcomes, or contexts of entrepreneurship processes-that form distinct sub-themes of digital entrepreneurship research and illustrates potential research topics that flow from each of them and their intersections.

The purpose of this chapter is to support entrepreneurship scholars in their efforts to integrate neuroimaging with entrepreneurship. First, we describe the potential benefits of using neuroimaging in entrepreneurship research. Second, we discuss general issues and considerations to make in neuroimaging research. Then we focus on functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) as a neuroimaging method to bring the neural level of analysis to entrepreneurship research. We discuss opportunity recognition and assessment, and entrepreneurial decision making as examples of topic areas ripe for neuroentrepreneurship and fMRI. We subsequently describe hypotheses designs and best practices in fMRI research. Finally, we close with a discussion regarding interpretation and communication of results.

This paper studies the attitudes of entrepreneurs, both how they differ as a group from others in the economy, as well as how they differ from one another according to the mode of entry into entrepreneurship and whether or not the firm is a family business. We use data from the Survey of Consumer Finance to measure and isolate the enjoyment of private benefits, attitudes toward risk, and optimism for these groups. Downloadable! This paper provides a synthetic and systematic review on the effectiveness of various entrepreneurship programs in developing countries. We adopt a meta-regression analysis using 37 impact evaluation studies that were in the public domain by March 2012, and draw out several lessons on the design of the programs. We observe a wide variation in program effectiveness across different interventions depending on outcomes, types of beneficiaries, and country context. Overall, entrepreneurship programs have a positive and large impact for youth and on business knowledge and practice, but no immediate translation into business set-up and expansion or increased income. At a disaggregate level by outcome groups, providing a package of training and financing is more effective for labor activities. Additionally, financing support appears more effective for women and business training for existing entrepreneurs than other interventions to improve business performance.
