We discuss aspects of the extended geometric quantization of one of the simplest and yet interesting examples of ∞-Chern-Simons theory, namely 2d Chern-Simons theory and here specifically the case induced by a binary and non-degenerate invariant polynomial, namely the Lie integrated version of the Poisson sigma-model.. It turns out that several aspects of the extended geometric quantization of this 2d theory are known in the literature already, albeit in disguise: the 2-plectic moduli stack of fields is equivalently what in the literature is known as a symplectic groupoid and its higher geometric quantization is essentially what is known as the geometric quantization of symplectic groupoids.. The suggestion that there should be such a relation is contained already in (Cattaneo-Felder 01), but at the time of that writing the geometric quantization of symplectic groupoids had not been performed yet.. To some extent in the following we review the traditional geometric quantization of symplectic ...
As a child actor, Ron Howard was busy even before The Andy Griffith Show. He appeared in television programs in the late 1950s and in 1960, including Playhouse 90, The Twilight Zone, and Dennis the Menace, among others.. In 1959 Howard, at 5 years of age, appeared on the television program General Electric Theater. Hosted by actor and future U.S. president Ronald Reagan, his appearance on the program led to his role as Opie Taylor the following year, as Howard told the Archive of American Television.. I guess I didnt have much of a credit, but Ronald Reagan had seen the episode and at the end, he just ad-libbed this thing and said, Special thanks to little Ronnie Howard who did a wonderful job as Barnaby or something like that, he recalled.. And that led [The Andy Griffith Show producer] Sheldon Leonard to call my agent and say, Im doing a series with Andy Griffith and we need a son.. ...

EDITORS NOTE: We finally come to Part 4 of Andy Synns review of the year in metal. In previous posts, Andy identified the Great, the Good, and the Disappointing releases of 2010. In this final installment, Andy lists his Top 10 favorite albums of the year as well as a critical Top 10 list. Turns out that the same album is in the top spot on both lists.]. Well ladies and gentlemen, finally we come to my personal top ten of the year, followed by my objective, critical top ten.. The first list contains the albums that I consider my favourites, in some cases regardless of relative quality, and that I have gone to for listening pleasure most frequently this year. I love these albums despite (and in some cases because of) their flaws.. The second list contains the albums which I think were the most artistically ambitious and successful, performed the best, and contained the best and most interesting examples of song-writing as art. These are the albums which I feel set a gold-standard for objective ...

A video encoder for encoding a series of groups of frames with an adjustable quantization step, and a method for adjusting the quantization step. The method tracks a complexity parameter of the encoded scenes, and computes a first quantization value in dependence upon the generated complexity parameter. The method further computes a minimum and a maximum step size in dependence upon a number of the bits that have already been generated, and upon the preset target number of bits. The quantization step for the next group of pictures is set in accordance with the first quantization value, but subject to the range defined by the minimum and maximum step sizes. The method further adjusts the minimum and the maximum step sizes.
The title character, whose strip usually appeared on the front cover, was Buster himself. He was originally billed as Buster: Son of Andy Capp; Andy Capp is the lead character of the eponymous Daily Mirror newspaper strip, and Buster wore a similar flat cap to reinforce the connection. In early issues Buster often referred to his father, and Andy was seen in the comic (attempting to find a gas leak in three frames of the 18 June 1960 issue; shown in two drawn photographs in the 2 July issue that same year, the first of which was displayed by Busters mum with the pronouncement, Its a photo of Buster taken with Andy! You can see hes got his dads fine straight nose). Busters mum was often referred to by name, and was consistently drawn to resemble Andys wife Flo. The connection with Andy Capp was gradually forgotten over time, and Andy no longer appeared in the strip by the mid-1960s. From 1965 the strip instead featured Buster in two long-running series: as lead character in the extremely ...
The broad and inexpensive availability of modern next-generation sequencing and genotyping technologies have led to a wealth of data and analytical methods for investigating population genetics research questions. Natural selection and the resulting change of gene frequencies takes place at the lvel of populations, and thus population genetics research provides key insights into evolutionary mechanisms and history, including population structure, migration routes, gene flow between populations, divergence time estimation, association of phenotypes to genomic loci, and disease epidemiology. As a consequence, there is now a multitude of packages available for a large variety of population genetics analysis methods in the popular R platform for statistical and mathematical computing. The Genetics Task View alone mentions more than 30 packages, and population genetic analyses will routinely also involve phylogenetics and other bioinformatics packages and methods. However, the organically grown ...

A good friend of mine was diagnosed with a bone cancer called Osteosarcoma in February 2008. This is a rare form of bone cancer only affects about 400 people per year in the UK, mostly children. Andy is 43 and his cancer affected, or should that be infected? - the top of his right Femur close to his Knee.. Since his diagnosis, Andy has had the affected bone removed and a Titanium replacement put in its place - its not quite Bionic. Andys tumour was removed successfully but has a secondary symptom on his Lungs called metastases (tumours). Andy had open chest surgery to remove as many of the metastases as possible and has undergone a series of Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy treatments and is currently (June 2009) having his last dose.. Like many cancer patients, Andy is fund raising and his chosen charities a Bone Cancer Research and Willen Hospice. Andy Pernetti, a recovering alcoholic, speaks on the importance of having fun in sobriety and his way of achieving it. When Andy came into the program he found that being of service set him on a new journey of recovery. Andy organizes events such as camping trips and movie nights as a way of achieving fun and new experiences in sobriety. The creative solutions meeting Andy sometimes attends is a meeting focused on how to have fun in sobriety. Andy describes how he feels blessed with all the friends and emotions he has in sobriety that werent present in his addiction.. Andy goes on to describe his 1 year party as a rave with two battling DJs and energy drink jello shots. He did this to prove the point that ones lifestyle does not have to change by being sober aside from the not drinking. One can have as much if not more fun when sober than when drinking or using.. ...

Right in the window facing the street, musician Peter Gavett was setting up. Normally part of a trio, Gavett was playing solo acoustic with a mix of covers and original tunes.. His audience was small when I was there around 7 p.m. A few guys gathered at the bar sipping beers and taking shots of Jim Beam. A couple sat at one of the pub tables.. It was a quiet night, but Ive seen the small bar at Andys quite full. In fact, I remember a happy hour when co-workers and I overtook the bars long picnic-style table, and other customers filled the rest of the barstools.. When I bellied up to the bar, I was pleasantly surprised that Shipyard Pumpkinhead was still on tap and one of the nights happy hour specials. I grabbed a pint of that and started perusing the menu.. Andys has about two dozen offerings for red, white and sparkling wines, a selection of Honeymaker Meads, and 10 beers on tap with even more in the bottle. Of course, it also has a fully stocked bar and is willing to mix up any drink ...

Seoul Taco co-owner David Choi built his food truck into one of the citys most popular, then took a wild leap and opened a brick-and-mortar restaurant with the same name in The Loop this past fall. He still hits the road, though. In fact, one of his prize gigs is feeding the St. Louis Rams - a group whom he said can really put it away.. What did you do before you bought a food truck? [Co-owner] Andy [Heck] and I had to quit our jobs. I was a valet attendant at St. Marys Hospital, and Andy was in mortgages. I had just saved for six months to buy a car, and then to buy the truck, I had to sell it! We had to go to the East Coast to get the truck; we finally found it in Philadelphia. It used to be a Philly cheesesteak wagon.. I imagine you use Seoul Tacos new brick-and-mortar locations kitchen to prep everything for the truck each day? Yes, that was one of the main purposes of getting the brick-and-mortar location, to cater the truck. Our truck is parked right behind the store. Tomorrow were ...
Alice Cooper is set to sell off his prized Andy Warhol art piece at the 2021 Fall Larsen Art Auction. The Little Electric Chair acrylic and silkscreen on canvas piece from Warhols Death and Disaster series is valued between $2.5 - $4.5 million (£1.8 - £3.2 million), and could become the highest selling painting in the state of Arizona. Alice rediscovered the piece in the garage of his Scottsdale, Arizona compound, revealing he had completely forgotten he owned it. Cooper and Warhol became unlikely pals in New York City in the 1970s. One day a few years ago, I was talking to Dennis Hopper who said he was selling a couple of his Warhols, the rock star shared. I said, Wait a minute, I think I have a Warhol somewhere. So I went digging around and found it and it was in perfect condition. I mean it was sort of in a time capsule, which I think Andy would have loved because he loved doing the time capsule as an art piece in and of itself. So, there it was, it had lived by itself for many years. We
Just over a year ago, a report surfaced suggesting former Android king Andy Rubin was considering re-entering the phone business. The report talked about Rubin assembling a team to potentially build out a new company, yet there has been almost zero follow-up since. Today, Bloomberg is reporting that things are very serious on the Andy Rubin smartphone front and we may see a phone (as well as other products) as early as this year. According to this report, Rubins new company is called Essential and is made up of roughly 40 people, many of which have been brought in from Apple and Google. Essential will attempt to compete in the top tier smartphone segment, but the goal is to create a whole ecosystem of devices that all play well together (think both mobile and smart home stuff).. Rubin apparently spoke with wireless carrier execs at CES last week about a high-end phone that Essential is working on, one that will have an edge-to-edge display without bezel (likely larger than 5.5-inches), along ...

The doctors were stumped when nothing would come up. All organs were fine they called it a strange case. He had no red blood cells and they didnt know what was destroying them. Finally they did a bone marrow test and Andy had histiocytic sarcoma. This liquid in his stomach was from the proteins not getting to his body he had a very very low red blood cell count. They told us Andy had 3 to 4 weeks to live when he left the hospital that Friday and he died 30 hours later. He was in my arms with us right there with him, he took his last little breath, let out a sound of release and is now in a very happy and amazing place. I awakened yesterday to a battle raging downstairs, screams of unhappiness rising up the stairwell. It was odd, they usually play together nicely in the morning now. I sprang up to intercede, and found the problem was about sticks. Joey is very fond of his sticks, which he uses for air writing, and has them about the house. Andy is also fond of sticks, which he uses as most children do: swords, guns, magic wands, whatever strikes his fancy. Apparently Joey wanted a long, thin stick Andy had, instead of the shorter (but still pretty long), thicker stick in his hand. He was screaming that Andy has stolen his stick. Andy was upset because he hadnt stolen the stick (for once), but it was one he had gotten from the yard the day before. In trying to be fair, there was little I could do other than inspect the stick and note that it was, indeed, the one Andy had fetched from the yard the day before- which, of course, settled nothing. Assuring Joey he could go out and get a similar stick was of no ...
The Band: Array. setting: thursday evening at Andys house. our senior year. 1987.. band members: Andy- guitar and backing vocal, Johnny- bass, Daniel-drums, Rebecca- lead vocal, Kimmee- keyboards, backing vocal. shit, boys, we are going to rock the house saturday night, andy exclaimed as he gave me a hi-five. he turned to do the same with johnny but realized he wasnt paying any attention. johnny was, as per usual, in his own little world, sitting back, smoking a joint and staring out at nothing.. a little perturbed by johnnys lack of enthusiasm for the upcoming gig, andy picked up his guitar and played an intricate arpeggio that he had been working on the past few days. andy was a lanky rich boy whos mom was never home and usually had the whole house to himself after school to play loud music in. he was the class clown and was even voted the funniest senior in the yearbook that year. i played a couple of warmup drum fills on the tom-toms and then turned to andy and asked are you sure we ...
Andy Warhols work explores the relationship between artistic expression, celebrity culture and advertising. Andy Warhol was a Roman Catholic who apparently attended Mass almost daily throughout his life but didnt publish the fact. While Andy Warhols artwork may definitely give a mysterious impression, he was not only a regular church attender, but also consistently served at soup kitchens. Although I do not know Andy Warhol nor his life style personally, I have heard many negative descriptions of it. However, I have also heard very positive evaluations of his contributions, and I do think his efforts at using such a mundane everyday symbol as GE in his artwork The Last Supper, might be pointing to the hope of more meaning. By doing this, it would seem that he was hoping to integrate the sacred and the secular more. With the backdrop of Leonardo da Vincis famous The Last Supper, we see imposed a commercial sign, GE and a dove. Andy Warhol appears to be pointing to the symbol of the ...
Yesterday was a joyful and hard day all at the same time as it marked the 13th birthday of my first litter at Ersehnen. I am happy to report that I am still in touch with 3 owners of pups from this litter and they are doing well - a little slower but well. Tempering this joy was the fact that my boy from this litter is no longer with me. Andy, you can see him in the header, was the love of my life and he left some mighty big paw prints to fill. He was my constant companion, confidante, and protector. Jay took him out hunting pheasants - 9 yr old Andys first time out on birds - they got one which Andy kind of retrieved. But what made the trip memorable for Jay was Andy telling him off for not shooting the ducks flying over head. Andy would look up at the ducks, look at Jay bark then back at the ducks all the while Jay was trying to explain that the ducks were too high and out of range. I wish I had a picture of that as I can just see the expression on the Old Mans face during this exchange. He ...
Honeywell said Wednesday it has been awarded a $15 million smart grid project by Connexus Energy, Minnesotas largest customer-owned electric cooperative, to deploy advanced smart grid technology to improve electricity service and reliability, and help the utilitys 130,000 members better manage their energy consumption.. Under the project, Honeywell will install more than 138,000 of its EnergyAxis connected meters and its new SynergyNet mesh networking platform for the utility.. When completed in 2018, the fully integrated system will provide Connexus Energy with real-time data on customers energy consumption for more accurate billing, better management of usage, and the ability to more accurately detect meter tampering and outages for faster recovery, according to Honeywell.. Instead of relying on time-consuming manual meter data collection, Connexus Energy, whose service territory spans seven counties and covers 1,000 square miles in the northern part of the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area, ...

This comment on Turtle applies to SPARQL as well (the Turtle grammar is copied from the SPARQL grammar at this point). The fix is easy (= I have done it in ARQ and am testing it out). Some syntax tests, good and bad, to formally pin this down should be done and Ill provide them. As relates to formally deciding on LC today, Im open to either delaying for two weeks or to deciding today conditional on making the change to doc and some tests in the next 2 days or so. This paper presents a phase noise improvement method for fine tuning of type-I ADPLL by exploiting its nonlinear quantization effects. When quantization step approaches the same orders of magnitude of standard deviation of input noise, quantization effects become nonlinear, and additive noise modeling of quantization effects is no longer applicable. By proper offsetting the input signals in this case, the feedback loop of ADPLL can be very sensitive to frequency phase deviation. It results in a larger loop bandwidth, and in turn smaller in-band phase noise than in linear quantization case. A theoretic s-domain noise model is proposed to quantify the phase noise in nonlinear case. Results are verified in Modelsim simulations. Proposed method offers possibility of achieving lower phase noise by lower quantization resolution and less circuit design efforts.. ...

Andys research interest is primarily in endurance exercise performance, especially cycling. His work mainly focuses on the acute factors that affect sport and exercise performance, either via nutritional interventions (amino acids, macronutrients, dietary nitrate, sodium bicarbonate and fluid) or by manipulating environmental factors (ambient temperature, altitude, competitor presence, verbal encouragement). Each of these areas of interest have potentially wide reaching impact for large proportions of the population, and it is this rather than elite sport performance which he is using as the basis to increase the reach and impact of his research work. Recently he has been engaging with the popular media in order to translate complex research into easy to understand and usable information. This approach can have meaningful impact on those wanting to enhance exercise performance, adherence and optimising nutritional intake. Andy is publishing regularly in high impact peer-reviewed journals, and ...
l965, 16mm film, black-and-white, sound, 0:33 min. in double screen, with Edie Sedgwick, The Andy Warhol Museum, Pittsburgh by Callie Angell »... Warhol, though he grounded his art in the ubiquity of the packaged commodity, produced his most powerful work by dramatizing the breakdown of commodity exchange. These were instances in which the mass-produced image as the bearer of desires was exposed in its inadequacy by the reality of suffering and death.« [1] (Thomas Crow) As a body of work, Andy Warhols films from the 1960s have often been held critically and historically separate from his better known painting and sculpture of the same period. There are certain films, however, whose formal concerns as portraits compel long overdue comparison with Warhols Pop Art paintings. One such cinematic work is the Screen Tests (l964-66), the series of five hundred black-and-white silent films that is only now achieving recognition as one of the artists most important accomplishments as a portraitist. ...
TC522.118.7. Collection of the Andy Warhol Museum. Image courtesy of the Andy Warhol Museum.. From this record, we learn that she married András Varchola on 24 May 1909 in Miková at the age of 17. In doing the math, if she were born on 20 November 1891, she would have been 17 years six months four days old at the time of her marriage. Had she been born in 1892, the record would have stated she was 16 years old (I find this age calculator is helpful in verifying ages on a specific date).. As a side note, the original entry in the church registers can be viewed here (entry 3) with spelling variations in the given and surnames. The drastic differences in the names are likely a result of the Magyarization that occurred in the Austrian-Hungarian empire after laws to force assimilation into the Hungarian culture in 1907.. The next record I found that gives Julias age is the passenger list showing her arrival in America. She was the first entry on the page, and her first name was spelled Ula, a ...
NAPgAs lawyer, Andy Irvine, recently put together a wonderful response to the Shoshone NF Risk of Disease Transmission and Supplemental Draft Environmental Impact Study, which both contained faulty science to justify banning packgoats from Bighorn Sheep territory. Every issue brought up in the Shoshone documents is addressed in detail. This is a long document but well worth the read. This is one of the things NAPgAs money pays for, and the comments may well be applied to similar situations as they arise in other areas. Click the link below to access the full document.. Phoebe experiences a powerful and deadly premonition of death at Halliwell manor which shows Inspector Rodriguez unmasked in a demonic attack on the sisters, resulting in Andy being killed. Vowing to prevent Andys death, Prue heads to the police department to warn Andy that Rodriguez is a demon working undercover. As the Rodriguez makes plans for his attempt to kill the Charmed Ones, he receives a visit from Tempus (David Carradine), a demon who can turn back time that was sent by The Source to help in case he fails. Tempus rewinds time each time Rodriguez fails to kill the Charmed Ones until the warlock succeeds in killing all the sisters. Andy is waiting in his car, after being told by Prue to stay away because it was dangerous. He sees Rodriguez entering the house and goes in to protect Prue. Andy bursts in before Rodriguez can harm the sisters and attempts to shoot him, but Rodriguez fires an energy ball at Andy, killing him. John Hall on Collective Worship in Schools. Andy Hawes article last month on the importance of school worship (Where God is Dead June 2004) was a real encouragement to me not to give up on one of the important political debates in which on behalf of the Church I am currently engaged.. When Charles Clarke succeeded Estelle Morris in November 2002, the Bishop of Blackburn, Alan Chesters, then chairman of the Church of England Board of Education, wrote on behalf of the main Churches education chairmen and officers, asking for an early meeting. The new Secretary of State for Education and Skills was surprisingly ready to agree and told us of three of his priorities: to understand why so many politicians were negative about faith schools and if possible to change the public debate; to give greater priority to Religious Education in the school curriculum; and to decide what to do about collective worship. In other words, he was willing to grasp nettles. But he wanted to be well prepared.. Andy Hawes ...

The Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host tweeted: Sending positive energy to [Wendy Williams] for a quick recovery. There are too many Hot Topics to be without WW on TV!. In a statement to Page Six, a spokesperson for Williams and her family addressed the hospitalization and what it means for her talk show as she will need to take an extended break to get treatment. Distributor and producer Debmar-Mercury noted that repeats of The Wendy Williams Show will air the week of Jan. 21, with guest hosts filling in beginning the following week.. Prior to the hospitalization, Williams injured her shoulder in December; later she slurred her words on air, which she blamed on painkillers after apologizing. Since she has twice delayed her return as she was aiming to return to the air at 200 [percent]. ...

Rob Pratt is considered one of the early thought leaders behind the smart grid. He manages Pacific Northwest National Laboratorys (PNNL) Smart Grid R&D program activities for the U.S. Department of Energy. Pratt leads a team that looks at communications architecture, advanced control technology and the combined engineering and economic aspects of a future grid. Pratt said he has seen a boom in smart grid progress over the past couple years. The amount of smart grid being installed as a result of ARRA [American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009] is a profound opportunity we didnt see coming, Pratt said. Its really moved the ball along. The demo projects that started before that and continue are introducing smart grid technology to the masses. Utilities are surveying their customers to gather their thoughts and attitudes regarding power delivery and energy usage to better discover how to approach them regarding the smart grid. At present, about half the utilities in the United States are ...
Even before electric vehicles began their comeback, researchers started to develop technology that enable car owners to make money by selling power stored in batteries back to the grid. Under V2G, EVs charge their vehicles off-peak (primarily overnight), and then sell power back to grid operators during peak hours and pocket the substantial difference in power costs.. Vehicle to grid technology (V2G) is approaching the commercialization stage thanks in part to the work of Professor Willet Kempton of the University of Delaware, who is now the CTO at startup Nuvve. Nuvve recently found its first customer in Denmark, where 30 vehicles will be used to support the grid.. V2G is envisioned as a consumer application, but automakers have resisted the idea because of the concern over potential reductions in battery life from sending power to and from the vehicles on a daily basis. This also requires adding an onboard inverter so that the vehicle can send power upstream since most vehicles were designed ...

Andy Bourland knows firsthand what its like to see good times and bad. As the co-founder of ClickZ, one of the earliest pure-play content sites that helped legitimize Internet advertising, he lived through the halcyon days before selling his company to INT Media Group in May. Since then, Bourland has been trying to relax (at least for the summer) at his home in New England. But perhaps more than most, Bourland has a unique perspective on Internet advertising (ClickZ, after all, not only depends on advertising to pay its bills but also covers the ad and marketing industries).

Andy, youre a disease with opposable thumbs. Youre a plague, a pox, a parasite on all that is good and useful. Other people are making the internet into the greatest library that ever was, a scholarly resource, a tool for science, a home for the arts, a conversation, a force for social change - but you, youre out there shilling. And youre not even selling anything real, youre selling the idea of selling. You mammon-worshipping maggot. Youre sucking down bandwidth and making all sorts of worthwhile endeavours more difficult by the day, just to push yourself into peoples faces and scream give me money. You are greed made flesh. Andy Gaus (born 1946) is a translator and author, known for his 1991 work The Unvarnished New Testament. Gaus is also active in musical theater and has written music for several operas, revues, and musicals. In 1988 Gaus released The Unvarnished Gospels, which led into the 1991 release of The Unvarnished New Testament, which he made in an attempt to render the New Testament in more simple and straightforward modern speech than other Modern English Bible translations. In addition to simpler sentence structure, Gaus also chose to translate a number of words that are important in Christian theology using words that are more commonplace and familiar (such as doing wrong for the more traditional word sin).[citation needed] The Unvarnished New Testament received criticism from William E. Paul and Robert Bratcher, the former of which stated that There are places where it seems the translator misunderstood the Greek text... Introduction Internucleosomal cleavage of DNA is a hallmark of apoptosis. DNA cleavage in apoptotic cells can be detected in situ in fixed cells or tissue sections using the terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase (TdT) mediated dUTP nick-end labeling (TUNEL) method. TUNEL is highly selective for the detection of apoptotic cells but not necrotic cells or cells with DNA strand breaks resulting from irradiation or drug treatment. In the TUNEL assay, TdT enzyme catalyzes the addition of labeled dUTP to the 3 ends of cleaved DNA fragments. Hapten-tagged dUTP (e.g. digoxigenin-dUTP or biotin-dUTP) can be detected using secondary reagents (e.g. anti-digoxigenin antibodies or streptavi-din) for fluorescence or colorimetric detection. Alternatively, fluorescent dye-conjugated dUTP can be used for direct detection of fragmented DNA by fluorescence microscopy or flow cytometry. The TUNEL Andy Fluor™ 594 Apoptosis Detection Kit contains dUTP conjugated to biotin and Streptavidin conjugated to bright and ...

I seem to have become lost in the writing of my dissertation over the past month or so, and the making and experimental aspect of my practice has been on hold. Today I revisited this video of Andy Goldsworthy and his lecture on colour to remind me that I am not alone in my thought processes and there is someone else out there that thinks just like I do!! He talks about how the colour in nature intensifies energy and visualizes the intensity of growth and death in nature. His eye is drawn to every aspect of colour through the seasons utilizing the materials found within the space he inhabits. He doesnt know what he is going to make before he gets there it is only while observing and spending time in a place/space that he then connects and intervenes with the materials. He is sensitive to place and observes with intensity what is around him ...

Whereas his past work brought viewers in close, like a whisper, Andy Kehoes newest series of mixed-media paintings is more like a cry from a mountain top. Kehoe explores the broad terrain of the mystical forests weve visited before, opening a new chapter in the vignettes he has been weaving through his past solo shows in recent years. He creates depth by alternating layers of paint with resin, giving his paintings a shadow-box effect. His latest body of work - premiering this Thursday, June 5, at Roq La Rue in Seattle for his solo show Inner Mystic - marks a turning point in his aesthetic. The time of day and the cycle of the moon play important roles in these paintings. Kehoe infuses the skies with dimly lit hues of green and red, creating a marble-like effect. His characters appear small under these sweeping vistas. The pieces inspire us to consider our smallness in the grand scheme of the universe. Kehoes ambiguous, animal-like characters emerge from behind trees like spirits of the ...
