Socioeconomic adversity explained part of this relationship, especially in women. Psychosocial factors, including a lack of social support, were important explanatory factors in men. Ive been taking Lamictal (150 mgs) and Welbutrin (100 mgs) for over a year. About eight months or so ago, I started taking Celexa (10 mgs) as well. Since taking the Celexa, Ive gained over ten pounds, this after staying at the same weight for over three years. Im still going to the gym six days a week and my diet hasnt significantly changed. Not sure if this is the right place but I figured people might be interested in possible theories as to what causes MND. Looking back I took antihistamines almost every day for 16 years and was on many different antidepressants over the years and now Im sure all that affected my brain. I was getting brain zaps for many years even when I hadnt had any SSRI meds for years. The zaps were awful and sounded like neurons firing and drs couldnt explain it. Had MRI in 2017 and they couldnt find a cause. Since my motor related symptoms reared their ugly head I havent had the zaps. Did I cause this with all the medications?
