Toxocara: A genus of ascarid nematodes commonly parasitic in the intestines of cats and dogs.Toxocara canis: A species of parasitic nematode found in the intestine of dogs. Lesions in the brain, liver, eye, kidney, and lung are caused by migrating larvae.
