Slipped epiphyses is a medical condition where the growth plate (epiphyseal plate) at the end of long bones in children and adolescents becomes injured or dislocated, often affecting the hip area, and potentially causing pain, walking difficulties, and limping.
The head of a long bone that is separated from the shaft by the epiphyseal plate until bone growth stops. At that time, the plate disappears and the head and shaft are united.

A benign pituitary-region neoplasm that originates from Rathke's pouch. The two major histologic and clinical subtypes are adamantinous (or classical) craniopharyngioma and papillary craniopharyngioma. The cystic cavity is filled with a black viscous substance and histologically the tumor is composed of adamantinomatous epithelium and areas of calcification and necrosis.
