Pulpektomi

Periapical tissue refers to the delicate, highly vascularized and innervated connective tissue that surrounds the apex of a tooth's root and is continuous with the periodontal ligament. It contains various cell types, including fibroblasts, immune cells, and neural elements, and plays a crucial role in maintaining the health and integrity of the tooth's supporting structures. Inflammation or infection of this tissue can lead to periapical periodontitis or abscess formation, which may require endodontic treatment to preserve the tooth.
