Neemträdet, scientifically known as Azadirachta indica, is a tree native to India and Southeast Asia, whose bark, leaves, and seeds have been used in traditional medicine for centuries due to its numerous therapeutic properties. It contains active compounds called liminoids, particularly azadirachtin, which are known to have antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant effects, among others.
