Progeria

Muskeldystrofi, Emery-Dreifuss
Emery-Dreifuss musculodystrophy (EDMD) is a genetic muscle disorder characterized by slowly progressive muscle weakness, stiffness of joints, and heart problems. It primarily affects the voluntary muscles closest to the trunk of the body (proximal muscles), as well as the upper arms and legs. The condition may also cause cardiac conduction abnormalities that can lead to serious heart rhythm disorders. EDMD is caused by mutations in several different genes and is typically inherited in an autosomal dominant or X-linked recessive pattern.

Proteinprenylation
Leukemi, myeloid, aggressivfas
Aggressive myeloid leukemia is a rapidly progressing cancer of the blood and bone marrow characterized by the uncontrolled production of abnormal myeloid cells, which are immature versions of white blood cells called neutrophils, monocytes, and eosinophils. These malignant cells accumulate in the bone marrow and blood, disrupting normal cell function and preventing the production of healthy blood cells, leading to serious complications such as anemia, infection, and bleeding. Aggressive myeloid leukemia requires immediate medical attention and treatment, often involving intensive chemotherapy and stem cell transplantation.
