Please help with MRI report, do I need surgery?

MRI report states:

at L4-5 there is a diffuse degenerative bulging disc slightly asymmetric within the right lateral rrecess abutting without grossly compressing the exiting right L5 nerve root.  L3-4 there is a diffuse degenerative bulging disc with mild stenosis.  Mild degenerative disc disease slightly asymetric to the right at L4-5 as above.
