Stress means when you feel yourself drained because of your emotional or mental state. There can be various factors contributing to it such as unhealthy environment, anxiety, stressful situations, physical exhaustion, illness, financial difficulties and many more.

Some amount of stress is a part of human life. However, you must make sure that you don't feel overwhelmed by it everyday. How I like to treat stress may not necessary be the same for you. Example: I'm an introvert and my best way of driving away stress is by locking myself in a room and getting lost in a good movie or book. For someone else, this method may be boring and he/she might like to get in touch with people and go for an outing.

How you treat stress depends on your preferences. That said, you must take a break once in a while to break free from the mundane daily routine activities. There are always times when one needs to escape from the daily routine to refresh the mind and feel alive. It's totally okay. Once in a while, try enjoying life with it not going at thousand miles per hour.

Adopt good lifestyle habits like having a consistent sleep schedule, daily exercise routine and good diet to lower your stress level. These habits look small but they contribute a lot in developing physical as well as mental health. Sitting in silence everyday at least for 10 mins with yourself works wonders!
