FINDINGS:

ALIGNMENT: No anterolisthesis or spondylolysis is present at any level.

PARASPINAL AREA: No aneurysm or soft tissue mass is present. A small 

cyst is incidentally noted in the right kidney.

BONES: No edema, fractures, or masses are present at any level.

CORD/CAUDA EQUINA: Normal caliber, contour, position and signal 

intensity.

DISKS: Disk space heights are preserved, but mild early disk 

desiccation is noted L4-5.

 

LUMBAR LEVELS:

L1-L2: No significant disk disease, facet osteoarthritis or stenosis. 

L2-L3: No significant disk disease, facet osteoarthritis or stenosis. 

L3-L4: No significant disk disease, facet osteoarthritis or stenosis. 

L4-L5: Mild broad-base bulge is present with mild central and foraminal 

stenosis. Moderate facet arthropathy is present.

L5-S1: A minimal bulge is present without focal protrusion or stenosis.

CONCLUSION:

1. Mild L4-5 bulge with mild resulting central and foraminal stenosis.

2. Mild facet arthropathy L4-5 and L5-S1.
