My 15 year old son was diagnosed today with Crohn's. He hasn't had the normal symptoms- but has been anemic, dizzy, weak, hasn't met growth targets, and hasn't had puberty onset. Endoscopy/ colonoscopy and lots of blood work later we have this diagnosis. His pediatric GI specialist wants to start with Remicade (spelling?) infusions before the school year starts in a few weeks. I've done lots of reading and am freaking out about this drug. Is it normal to start this aggressively - especially when there's been no diarrhea, stomache pain etc? This drug seems pretty intense! Any input would be welcome! Thanks!

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
