in Apicoectomy by
I had an apicoectomy 6 days ago above my front tooth. It had a fistula that developed above tooth  2 weeks after a root canal done a year prior. . The dentist sent me to an Endontist that cleaned out the roots and the fistula went away but reappeared. After 3 months of inserting antiseptic( every week) he sent me to an oral surgeon. I have 7 stitches in my gums and the tooth is throbbing now. Ive been taking 10 mg Percocet every 6 hours since the surgery. It seemed like alot of pain meds but when the numbness wore off I UNDERSTOOD WHY. That was brutal pain!! Is throbbing normal or is it a sign of failure?
