in Naegleria fowleri by
I was at my friend's house today and he had a vaporizer or humidifier that was producing steam. He has been dealing with a cold for the last couple of days.  But I became concerned that since he likely used tap water for it there may be naegleria on the steam that came out of it.  It was not pointing directly at me, actually it was pointing opposit to where i was and I was a couple of paces away. Is there any risk of infection? Also are showers a risk in terma of Naegleria? I live in Pittsburgh but for the last months I have been really scared of getting that amoeba in the shower? Thanks for your help!
