What is the best sound to make when trying to see down your throat?

Doc said I had a growth on my uvula, the wobble hanging in the back of the throat. I am trying to see it in the mirror. What is the best sound, vowel, noise to make; to open my throat for best viewing?

Doc said I had a quick trigger on my gag reflex. Trying my best to see the thing, but would like some input here, please.
