Findings: The conus looked normal Vertebral body height, alignment, and marrow signal are normal at all levels. There is decreased signal intensity of the L4-5 and L5-S1 discs in the T2 weighted series.

L3-4: Normal.

L4-5: There is a broad based annular bulging of the disc along with some ligamentum flavum hypertrophy.  Mild irregularity and decreased signal intensity of the left facet is seen.  Bilateral lateral recess stenosis is present.

L5-S1:  Minimal disc bulging is seen. Facets look normal.

Impression: Desiccation of the L4-5 and L5-S1 discs with disc bulging and ligamentum flavum hypertrophy at L-4-5. There is also some left facet arthropathy. Moderate bilateral lateral recess stenosis is present here. Only minimal bulging of the L-5 S-1 disc is seen.

I need to understand what this is saying.  Any help you provide will be genuinely appreciated.

Thank you so much for your help.
