Hi, my dad was recently diagnose with cerebral infraction. He is 50+ and now behaves like a child. He used to smoke a lot and doesn't live a healthy lifestyle so he is overweight as well. I am currently not with my dad but my brother is. And I heard from him that my dad would often behave like a kid and most of the time they don't understand what he is trying to say, but there are times he seems to be fine and can even speak normally and think rationally. So is there any way or any treatment that can make my dad better? Or does it solely depend on himself and we can't do anything but wait for things to get better? Because the doctor said, it just depends on my dad, and I don't want to believe that is actually true. Please let me know what u think. Thank u.
