When my boyfriend performs oral on me after three days of treatment to Impetigo. Is it contagious? Am I screwed?

So my boyfriend had Impetigo a couple weeks ago and he treated it and it all went away. He did seven days of treatment and than stopped. Now he has it again and has been doing the treatment for four days but missed a night to apply it. He performed oral on me and I am not sure if he was contagious. Is it possible he could transfer it to me? And if he has how fast will I start to get symptoms?
