Oral surgeons and periodontists are very similar. However the work they do is very different. It depends: if you are having gum surgery done as part of periodontal rehabilitation then probably better to be with a periodontist. if you are having wisdom teeth taken out probably better to be done at an oral surgeons office. However both can perform dental implants. For more information if you are looking for a periodontist in Queens then you can learn more by clicking the link. They are pretty much the same - however depending on the case will depend on the experience of the perio or oral surgeon. Take advice speak to a few and make a decision after you have asked a lot of questions.
