I think my daughter has supernumerary tooth?

My daughter is 13 years old this year and she has an extra tooth in front of her teeth on her lower jaw. However she is extremely afraid of going to the dentist. So I was wondering if the tooth was drop by itself? Or surgery has to be performed? If there must be surgery performed, how would you rate the pain on a scale of 1 to 10.

one of my relatives got exactly this case except the tooth was on the back , she was about the same age of your daughter after three years she went to s dentist and solved
this issue,  so let her grow up and all fears disappear.
