asked in Hantavirus by
About a week ago, I opened my pantry and took out a bag of chips. I ate them, but only after I realized there was a hole in the corner. They were rodent marks! And I thought the chips tasted weird-ish, but that also may be because of exposure to air, or it might have been my imagination. I live in Australia, Victoria, and just found out about Hantavirus. I have to admit, I'm sacred out of my mind. But I haven't shown any symptons, and it's been roughly a week already. I only got muscle pain in my calf, but that may be because I did quite a lot of swimming that same day. So, my question is, can Hantavirus spread this way? It would be nice if a reply came soon, 'cos I'm pretty much sacred out of my mind, though I know it's probably nothing.
