Hi, I'm an 18 year old female college student. I drink about 2 glasses a day of diet Pepsi or Coke zero with my lunch and dinner in the school cafeteria. I've only been doing this since about August 27th of this year, and it hasn't been every day but almost every day. Before I came to college, I rarely touched the stuff unless it was like, a can a week in high school. I read that certain chemicals can increase the risk of cancer by a lot. Did I pretty much just screw myself over and guarantee pancreatic cancer when I get older, or if I completely stop now and just drink water should I be ok? I  haven't been feeling well lately honestly. I get nauseated, I have a slightly elevated temp (just in the 99s, but that could be due to me overworking my body and not sleeping much), and my stomach hurts all the time. I don't want to get cancer, so I want to know what risk I just put myself in, and if I can lower the risk somehow.

I don't know if this is useful information, but I'm fairly active. I take between 8k-12k steps a day. My diet isn't the greatest like it used to be. The school cafeteria doesn't offer many healthy alternatives, but I try to eat healthy when I can. I don't get much sleep either because of college, but I try to get 6-7 hours a day.
