Below are the 2015 laboratory results of an 8 y/o neutered male 150# Great Dane:

Platelets were 102 higher than last year but still in the normal range of 170-400; Platelet estimate was "adequate".

Platelet Comment:  Giant platelets present may indicate active thrombopoiesis.

(MPV was not performed but last year it was normal at 11.10 in a range of 5.00-15.00.)
