Geographical Map Problem

Hello,

I'm whole new on this Forum, and i need to create a Geographical Map for a Documentation Video of mine, to show the exact spots of the World War 1. Now i searched a while on Google, and ended up on this site, The Tutorials Look nice, but they are not what i want.. Can someone direct me a tutorial or just simply explain "How-To" make it in Adobe After Effects CS3? I don't want anything complicated, just a simple card of Europe, that zooms in to North-France/Belgium.

Any help will be apprecited.
